“Welcome to the MacFormat CD”s aside, this is the section of the disk on which you'll find some handy tools with which to create and edit your own desktop video. In the Movie Shareware folder, you'll find a whole host of video editing software, including the excellent QuickEdit, probably the best video editing software available on the shareware market.
Of course, everyone needs some video to edit, so you'll also find a contribution from a talented MacFormat reader (in jaan@tp.estnet.ee), a promotional clip for one of our sister magazines, Classic CD, demonstration movies from Four Palms, and a demonstration of pure, unadulterated cartooning talent of Bob Lynch, with Mr Bouncyhead.
Should you come across any movie files that don't automatically open their own player, simply delve into the Movie Shareware folder, and use any one of the players in there – we recommend Fast Player.
